"Peggy Mangan is a person with a rare balance of heart and smart. She is superbly educated, artistic, and empathetic. Peggy serves on the Board of Directors of Communities for Compassion, a national organization of volunteers who serve the homebound disabled and elderly; she is also a musician and a world-class photographer. Her life experience as a Registered Nurse and a survivor of a life-threatening illness give her a unique perspective that makes her a masterful teacher and facilitator." Laurie Riley, CMP, ACCM

Tranquility Point Cancer Retreats are for the recovering cancer patient who asks the question; "What now?" What do you do now that medical treatment is over? Youre missing the patient-hospital connection, your family is ready to get on with life and you have this ever-nagging fear of recurrence of your disease.
You have changed. Who will understand and help you heal from this life-altering event?
We will! Tranquility Point Retreat's founder is Peggy Mangan, a Registered Nurse who has been faced with a life threatening illness herself and undergone a bone marrow transplant. Our staff is a group of professionals that work with various Michigan hospitals such as Huron Medical Center in Bad Axe Michigan.
Our Retreats are a place to go to get away from the stress of daily life and attend a wholesome, holistic program that will nurture the mind, body and spirit. Daily activities will include support groups with a focus on you and your story. Everyone will be heard.
You will be encouraged to facilitate your healing with relaxation techniques that include guided imagery, yoga, massage and music therapy.
